Overview

This Rain and Depth Module is a portable, Arduino-based environmental monitoring station designed to identify precipitation events and measure fluid levels. Housed in a custom black acrylic panel enclosure, the unit provides audible, visual, and digital data outputs. Core Functionality: • Rainfall Identification: Uses an onboard MH-RD rain sensor pad to detect water droplets. Upon sensing rain, the system displays "It is Raining" on the LCD screen and sounds an integrated buzzer alarm. • Water Level Rangefinding: A wired liquid depth sensor measures the height of water levels, calculating the value and showing it directly in centimeters (cm) on the display. • Computer Integration: Supports serial communication, enabling real-time sensor data streaming directly to the Arduino IDE Serial Monitor on a connected computer. • Rechargeable Utility: Equipped with a built-in 5V battery and a standard 5V charging port, allowing the module to be charged easily and operated independently in the field.
