Overview

This autonomous Obstacle Avoidance Robot is built on a 4-wheel-drive (4WD) chassis designed to navigate around physical barriers. Utilizing real-time distance calculations, the robot actively scans its surroundings to avoid collisions. Core Functionality: • Continuous Scanning: A 9g servo motor continuously pans the ultrasonic sensor at a 270-degree arc to monitor the environment ahead. • Automatic Navigation: When the ultrasonic sensor HC-S04 detects an obstacle within the predefined safe limit of 50 mm, the onboard Arduino microcontroller commands the motor driver to reverse or turn, pathing around the hurdle. • Motor Control: Uses an L298N motor driver to manage the speed and direction of the four 5V TT gear motors. • Onboard Power: Powered by a built-in 12V battery system equipped with an easily accessible rocker power switch. • Development Ready: Supports serial communication with the Arduino IDE for code adjustments, calibration, and monitoring. Package Includes: • Fully assembled 4WD autonomous robot
